Welcome to the PJ Tan Violin Shop located in Edmonton, Alberta.

We are a full service shop specializing in the violin family of instruments which includes the full range of violin, viola, cello, and bass.  We offer full retail services of all the instruments from student beginner outfits to fine and rare instruments of the violin family including a full range of bows and accessories.  We also offer a comprehensive rental program of violins and cellos from small to full size.  Our shop also offers restoration and repair of instruments and bows as well as appraisal services.  For more detailed explanation of our services please click on the tabs to the side.

We are members of the V.S.A Violin Society of America and the B.V.M.A British Violin Makers Association.

Our shop has undergone a major renovation this past few months and is now complete.  We have added additional space for our workshop and have added a demo sound room.  Our sound room is equipped with recording capabilities for demo or practice cd’s or any other recording application.
